Autobot blaster titans return9/6/2023 ![]() ![]() Loud and energetic, he was quick to immerse himself in Earth culture, and was happy to share his choice of rockin' tunes with anyone, whether they really wanted to hear them or not-a trait that got him in trouble as often as it saved him and his Autobot allies. 1.9 Dreamwave Generation One continuityīlaster was a fun-loving, hip and happening robot.Nobody is forcing down my throat to buy it so I'm not super upset. I like that they're interactive with the updated cassettes but I would have preferred a vehicle mode than a boom box. The alternate mode is extremely lackluster for that size class. This figure, along with the upcoming sound wave, are disappointments. While the deluxe sized figures are also aimed at children, they have attributes that are attractive to adult collectors. You have to follow your own rules if you are going to criticize others for not adhering to them. How about you practice what you preach and type in an IMO to specify your opinion because you seem to be stating it as a fact that his opinion is evident, because by your own reasoning you are stating your projection and opinion as fact when it's just your opinion. ![]() Who else did he seem to be speaking for other than himself? Your interpreting something that is obviously his opinion as more than that simply because he didnt type IMO is a reflection of your projecting an attitude into his post that isn't actually there. It helps to throw in an "IMO" or "for my tastes" ect ect instead of treating your opinion as fact because we aren't always going to agree in this fandom.Īnd thanks Walmart (and associate discount) for the free site to store for both Blaster and Prime at the lowest price I can get them ANYWHERE at the moment, super stoked! I think he looks nice as a chunk of a bot, the G1 pretty much was. Soooooo, blaster will be his own thing instead of sharing a mould with a decepticon. I will admit, in my opinion the soundwave looks off, but I have the MP. □Ĭheck some key shots here, more below, and full set of 80+ here. Now, bring on Soundwave so I can get this DJ battle going on the shelves. □īottom line, happy with Blaster as a casual mainline collector, worth a pick up even if you aren’t doing the whole line. Hit your local con and pick up a spare G1 Blaster gun and all good. Super cool thing though – G1 Blaster’s gun fits in the TR version’s peg, so problem solved. They paid homage to it here but it’s tiny, doesn’t do it justice. Huge, unique with that circle in the middle. Blasters gun was iconic (to me), always one of the best weapons from G1. One thing that was a bit disappointing – the gun. No waist swivel limits posing a bit, as does the lack of upper shoulder joints. The radio mode was cool, but a bit too stylized. Hooking him up with Fort Max and others later on will make one heck of a display. I can definitely see the play factor there for kids (and big kids). The battle station mode was way cooler than I expected, getting down low and posing his Headmaster Titan Master Twincast (nice) was fun. After getting him in hand, I’m still a happy camper. He’s big, has articulation, and captures the essence of the original perfectly. But Blaster immediately caught my eye and I’ve been waiting on him to drop ever since. Personally I haven’t been grabbing mass retail figures for a while. Titans Return Leader Class Autobot Blaster You can check the full gallery of over 85 shots here: TFW2005’s Titans Return Blaster Gallery Let’s take a closer look after the break! He’s a tape deck, a battle station, a Headmaster Titan Master, and awesome. Blaster is a leader class modern interpretation of the Autobot’s coolest warrior. Over time, we’ll run them all through the motions but I wanted to toss my hat in the gallery ring for one that caught my eye back at NYCC 2015 – Blaster. Titans Return is finally landing in the hands of collectors via online retailers and brick and mortar spots. ![]()
